The 1997-98 carburetted Tiger 900 is listed with figures identical to the 1995-96 bike. It remained a big, tall trail-styled triple aimed at relaxed road touring, with strong low-rev pull and a flat torque curve, ahead of the fuel-injected revision of 1999.
